The Shilin Night market is the largest and most famous of Taipei’s night markets. I was expecting a traditional market, but Shilin is more like an after-hours food court; I found the Hsin-Chu market more interesting.




The crayfish were sold live three feet away, then skewered and grilled alive.

I assume with that first picture you were either on top of something or holding the camera over your head. At first glance though, it seemed like you were much taller than everyone else. (insert stereotype here)
