While in Chicago, I accidentally stumbled into the Puerto Rican Day parade.
I came during the middle of the parade, so I may have missed the good parts, but all I saw were flags, corporate floats (cultural heritage, brought to you by your friends at DynaCorp Corp!), more flags, lots of screaming, pimped rides, flags, and beauty queens (draped in flags). It was fun to watch for a bit, but got old quickly in the Chicago heat.

Wow, I sat here and read every comment and I am jus surprised. I can’t believe that this BS still exist in 2006. I am a human melting pot, I am west indian, puerto rican, irish, black etc…and I am sure if alot of you who are writing these comments go back in history, you will see that we are all mixed some how. We should all be trying to change the world to make it better not worst, we already have the president doing that for us. We have terriost trying to blow up train stations and we are still fighting over race.
